Hiked up to Mirror Lake today (which is dry in Sept but has a gorgeous view of Half Dome).
met up with some brits on my way back. had fun visiting and talking to people from all over.
met a volunteer who's here for a month from pennsylvania. she'd joined the yosemite association since you get free camping in lower pines (one of the best campgrounds) if you volunteer. i'm gonna do it! she was really friendly and answered all my questions.
